Goals galore in Australia…..Hockey League Day 6

 

Tournament top scorer Arthur scored a hat trick as Tassie Tigers defeated whipping boys NZL Development by 5-3. It was a game that the Tigers were expected to win and score more to qualify to the medal round ahead of QLD Blades but the Blades showed more quality in front of goal as they thrashed S.A. Hotshots by 9-1 to qualify alongside VIC Vikings to the medal round from Pool A. The Tigers join S.A. Hotshots and NZL Development to the 5th – 10th classification round.

In Pool B, India Development beat Canberra Lakers by 2-0 to go ahead of WA Thundersticks into 2nd spot and make it to the medal round. Having qualified on match day 5, NSW Waratahs crushed the hopes of NT Stingers beating them by 2-0 In the last game of the day. The results take India Development and Waratahs to the medal round while WA Thundersticks, NT Stingers and Canberra Lakers move to the 5th – 10th classification round.
