“I’M COMING HOME” – KOFI BAIDEN TELLS GHANAIANS

Accra is the spot for this year’s World Hockey League R1 and some development around Ghana’s team is that Micheal KOFI BAIDEN, a ghanaian international who plays for Vasity Sports in South Africa, is preparing hurriedly to join the team.
During an interview with Isports via phone, he said ” I am putting all efforts in place to join the national team (Black Sticks) as they train for the tournament. I will touch down Accra by the first week of September to join the guys as they train. I am eager to come home and perform my patriotic duty as a ghanaian citizen”. He also noted that as one team is deemed to qualify for R2, he would do his possible best to qualify the team to the second round.
The World Hockey League starts on the 9th of September and ends on the 11th of the same month. Countries representing is host nation Ghana, Nigeria, Kenya and Namibi – both male and female. Zimbabwe, pulled out as a result lack of funds and support from their government. The team that makes it to the top qualifies to Round 2 which is deemed to be played in February 2017.
