KNUST ESTABLISH DOMINANCE, T.I AMASS ANNOUNCE PRESENCE

After three exciting days of hockey at the 2017 Ashanti Region Inter-School Hockey tournament, KNUST SHS has establish its dominance winning for the third time running whiles T.I Amass (Kumasi) announces their presence with a win against Yaa Asantewaa SHS.

KNUST AND T.I AMASS ARE 2017 CHAMPIONS

Qualifying from a group made up of Konongo Odumase Secondary (KOSS) and Jacobu SHS, KNUST SHS defeated Opoku Ware and Dwamena Akenten in the semis and final respectively to annex the trophy for the third time running.

In the ladies division, T.I Amass (Kumasi) defied all odds winning the final game 1-0 against Yaa Asantewaa.

Presentation

Charity Akoto (T.I Amass, Kumasi) and Fuseini Muslim (KNUST) were adjudged the best players for the female and male divisions respectively.

Two hockey development officers, Emmanuel Abban and Felicia Asamoah Mensah were appreciated after the tournaments by Mr. Henry Osei Mensah (Ashanti Regional P.E and Sports Coordinator) for their enormous contribution to hockey in the region.
