SHL week four preview.

The Sapholda hockey league continues this weekend 8th and 9th June, 2018 at the Theodosia Okoh Hockey Stadium with all divisions in action.

In the men’s division, Legon Knights will be looking to end a bad run of results when they host Reformers on Saturday. The Knights who are yet to earn a point in this year’s league will come up against a side they have failed to beat in their last four outings. Both teams have not been impressive this season with reformers managing just a point in two games and Legon Knights losing all three games played this season, conceding 25 goals.

In the men’s other game, Police and Exchequers will lock horns in the week’s last fixture. Both teams will take advantage of GRA’s postponed fixture against Ark men which was scheduled for Friday 8th June, 2018, and try get a win. Exchequers who have not tasted defeat in this year’s league will be hoping to make it three wins out of three matches. The bankers also boast of the best defense in this season’s league though one might write off their opponents in the first two games. Police on the other hand with the acquisition of Johnny Botsio from Trustees, will seek to make it two wins in a row after their defeat to GRA a fortnight ago.
