“We will bring back good results” – Racheal Bamfo

The captain of the national female hockey team of Ghana, Racheal Bamfo has assured Ghanaians, the team would do its possible best to make Ghana and Africa proud in the 2016-17 Women’s FIH Hockey World League Round 2 scheduled to take place in Valencia, Spain.
During an interview last Saturday, she noted that the team would strive to put out their best and as well play as a team. Racheal reflected on the first round saying “during the first round of the competition, we trained and played very well to win all matches. Our training sessions have been intense for the past weeks and with the commitment of team mates and coaches, we will put out our best for the nation.”
She also noted that since she was inducted as the new captain of the team, fellow team mates have shown their support to work harmoniously with her as she leads the team.
Lastly, Racheal emphasised that the team would do their possible best to bring back good results but was quick to add that Ghanaians and Africa as a whole, should remember them in prayers and support.
The team leaves the country on the 1st of February, 2017 to join Darren Chessman, Lucy Rowe and other technical advisers in Valencia. They would journey their quest to success on the 4th of February, 2017 as they play Scotland in their first game. They would then play Ukraine and Poland on the 5th and 7th respectively.
