Women: Police and Reformers take the lead

The Greater ACCRA Hockey League has started in the ladies division with a whooping 14 goals recorded in two matches yesterday, 22nd April, 2017 at the Theodosia Oko Hockey Stadium in Accra.

Over the weekend, our ladies were in actions and the first ladies match was played between Ghana Police Ladies team (first runner up, 2016 League) against the new entrance Real Ambassadors ladies.
At the blast of the whistle by umpires (line one Charles Obeng and line two Acheampong Kwasi), team Police recorded the earliest goal under a minute.
They went on to finish the first half with five (05) unanswered goals.
In second half, Police continued to bang in the goals and at the end of the 70 minutes the final scores was Police 11 Real Ambassadors 0.

Reformers declares intent

The second match between Reformers and Ark ladies was not short of the first. Reformers like their fellow security Service defeated Ark ladies by 3 goals to nil
The match was managed by umpires Evelyn Selorm and Ebenezer Darko Junior.
