Speaking to isports360, Mr. Graham who is the Group Executive of Eikke Consult touched on the motive behind organising such a tournament and the overall preparations.

“We are organising this to unearth talents in the environs of Cape Coast. We will also have a forum where a health officer will talk about COVID-19 and it’s preventions”, he said.

“We used the name GOUDA to appreciate a hockey club in Holland. They sent us some sticks last year so we thought it wise to use their name just to show appreciation”, he added.

“Organising it has been a challenge because of the number of children (350) around we are expecting – feeding them morning and afternoon. Also, the logistical constraints gas been a challenge but i am focused on the end product that is exposing the young ones to the beautiful game of hockey and also using it as a platform to unearth talents to the overall development of hockey”, he continued.
